- Property Record Cards- Are now available online by utilizing the Town's online tax maps. When searching for a property, just open the dialogue box and select "Avitar Property Card".

Abatement Forms
- Abatement Application - A Municipal Abatement Form may be submitted following the second issue tax billing and no later than March 1st immediately following.
- BTLA Forms- For all other abatement forms, click here to access the Board of Tax & Land Appeals website. This includes appeals to the State level.
Tax Exemption and Credit Forms
- Application Credits & Exemptions (Click Here for the print only version)
- Trust Owned Property - If your property is held in a Trust, also complete the Statement for Qualification form and supply a copy of your Trust with your credit and exemption application.
- Disability Exemption - For any Disability Exemption applications, please submit this worksheet with Permanent Application for Property Tax Credit/Exemption (PA-29), which can be found here.
- Elderly Exemptions - For any Elderly Exemption applications, please submit this worksheet along with Permanent Application for Property Tax Credit/Exemption (PA-29), which can be found here. For those that do not file a Federal Income Tax, please submit the IRS form 4506-T which can be found here.
Charitable and Religious Exemption Forms
- Charitable and Religious Exemption - All Charitable and Religious exempt properties must complete the A-9 form no later than April 15th of the year applying.
- Charitable Organization Financial Statement - Charitable organizations must complete the A-12 form and return to the Assessor's Office with financial documents no later than June 1st of the year applying. Religious organizations do not need to submit financials.
