RFP 2022 LED Lighting Upgrades

The Town of Gilmanton Board of Selectmen requests proposals from qualified electrical contractors who can provide competitive pricing for upgrades to LED lighting for five municipal buildings. The goals of the Town are to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy expenditures, and improve lighting performance.

The specifications for the lighting are established in the Level II Energy Audits completed by Resilient Buildings Group in August of 2021.

A Clerk of the Works representing the Town of Gilmanton will be available to guide electrical contractors on a walk-through of the five buildings targeted for the lighting upgrades on a date designated prior to the deadline for submitting proposals.

The Town will be applying to the NHSaves program for rebates for eligible costs of the work.
Ideally, we seek candidates with experience in working with NHSaves and meeting their program expectations.

Schedule

  • The deadline for submitting proposals: September 16, 2022 at 4:30pm
  • The unsealing of bids: September 19, 2022 at the 5pm Board of Selectmen meeting
  • A contractor will be selected: October 3, 2022 at the 5pm Board of Selectmen meeting
  • The completion date for the installations is (2 months from contractor selection)
  • Submit all final closeout paperwork by (2 weeks from completion)
