Building on a Private or Class VI Road

Per the Gilmanton Zoning Ordinances and RSA 674:41, building on a road without Class V road frontage or better is not permissable.  A "Class V road or better" refers to a road maintained by the Town or the State.  There are steps available to receive permission to build on a private or Class VI road including a road agreement with the Selectmen and a variance with the Zoning Board of Adjustments.  Please refer to the following documents for additional information.
