Try Something New
If you’ve never tried ramps and fiddleheads, now’s the time! They’re available at the Market – but only for a short time. Ramps, also known as wild leeks, look a little like scallions and have a slight garlic taste. Fiddleheads are baby uncoiled Ostrich fern heads. They taste lovely – green and fresh; vaguely like asparagus.

*Thanks to our local Farmers and Farmer Alliances: Geddes Farm, Heron Pond Farm, Magee Family Farm, Three Rivers Farm Alliance, and Wild Fern Farm.

ALWAYS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS!
It truly takes a village to keep the vision of Gilmanton’s Own alive.
Nearly everything that happens at the market, or associated with it, relies on the effort of dedicated volunteers. We are especially in need of people who would like to serve the community by working in the Market during Market hours — meet lots of good people, help them access our wonderful products, support local farmers and artists. We train, so don’t worry about what retail experience you have!
