Selectmen's Office The Selectmen's Office assists the public with applying for building permits, general assistance, Zoning Board of Adjustment inquiries and applications for variances and special exceptions, Historic District Commission inquiries and applications, intent to cut applications, gravel excavation applications, current use applications, assessing information, Planning Board information and applications for subdivision, site plans, and boundary line adjustments, tax exemptions applications, and other general information.
The Gilmanton Board of Selectmen is a 3 member elected board. Each elected member serves a 3 year term.
This board meets every Monday at 4 p.m., or as posted. Please contact the Town Administrator, to be placed on the agenda. (603) 267-6700

New Recycling Decal Policy - Fees being implemented Sept.1, 2011 - As of September 1, 2011 there is a $3.00 fee for all Recycling Facility stickers, temporary passes and special permit passes.

NEW MAIL DROP BOX - There is a new drop box located to the right hand side of the Academy Building's main entrance doors with a brass mail slot.
Public Hearing for a Special Town Meeting - To correct a procedural defect in the vote taken on Article #35 of the March 12, 2011 Town Meeting. RESULTS: 47 - YES 4 - NO ARTICLE PASSES BY THE REQUIRED 2/3rds MAJORITY VOTE.
2013 Town Warrant, Budget & Default Budget - To review the Town Warrant Articles, Town Budget & Default Budget, click on the link. The First Session (Deliberative) is on Saturday, 2/2/13. This meeting, like Town Meeting, is to discuss, ask questions and have the ablilty to amend amounts on Articles.
2012 Town Warrant - View the 2012 Warrant Articles that will be voted on this year. Articles #1 through #9 will be voted on by ballot, Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Articles #10 through #28 will be voted on at the Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
